Stumble Into Fun: A “Stumble Guys” Mobile Game Review
Stumble Guys emerges as a multiplayer phenomenon, where the vibrancy of colour and chaos of competition blend to create an inflatable funhouse-like arena. This mobile game, close kin of Fall Guys, offers a strikingly similar design aesthetic, with its crystal-clear graphics and creatively crafted obstacles that evoke a sense of lighthearted yet competitive gameplay
Diving into the gameplay, Stumble Guys accommodates up to 32 online players in a knock-out style challenge, where each level ups the ante with increasingly chaotic hurdles. It’s a game of endurance and agility, with players scrambling through each round until a single victor claims the crown. The design, with its human-like avatars and obstacle courses, reflects a detailed attention to a fun yet competitive environment.

I enjoyed creating my own multiplayer party to play against friends and family. We were able to find out who had the best motor skills, smallest fingers and best times in the group with me coming in 2nd even after some wins and big losses.
A highlight for me and still is the collecting of the stumble guys characters. They are very collectible and it’s a great gamification tactic to get me coming back to play. I do want to collect them all. However, I feel the lucky wheel is a little bugged as every time I get either the purple tokens of the gems, but never the characters.
These character designs are amazing, they capture the essence of fun in the design and look great when playing the game.
They do offer a Stuble Guys pass but I didn’t see enough value in it to buy the pass, at least not yet I am still building my collection and getting familiar with the mechanics, when I’m ready I’ll give it a look though. Yes, I’m a serious competitor and I want to be in the race for every new map and challenge that comes out for pass holders.
One of the most appealing aspects of Stumble Guys is its freemium model. Players can download and dive into its colourful world without spending a dime. The game cleverly incorporates in-app purchases with gems as the premium currency, which can be purchased or earned in-game. For those who prefer not to spend, alternatives such as watching ads for styles or post-game views are available, maintaining the game’s accessibility to all players.
Can you buy powerups and boosters?
Yes you can, there are several types of purchases you can make in the game. Fun fact there is also a merch store for clothing and an accessories store for the physical trading cards and mini character collection that looks like a lot of fun.
In-game point tokens that help you advance in the game
In the game, you can buy gem boosters so you can buy more stuff in the game.
Boosters that can impact your in-game chances.
You can also buy power-up booster bundles to get the edge in competitive games. These change often and will most likely have campaign timers telling you when they end. In my experience these are hit and miss, sometimes there’s something worth getting but you have to know whats happening in the game and event calendar to get the best bundles.
In summary, Stumble Guys by Scopely is a mobile gaming marvel that encapsulates a thrilling multiplayer experience with its excellent graphics, free-to-play model, and engaging gameplay. It’s a commendable clone of Fall Guys that stands on its own with its unique design elements and playful charm.
